SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY (SDP)DELTA STATE  MOURNS THE PASSING OF Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi


The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Delta State Chapter hereby expresses its deepest condolences to the family of the late former gubernatorial candidate and national state leader of our party, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi. The sad event occurred on May 4, 2024, leaving a void in the party and in the hearts of all who knew and worked with him.


In honour of our dear departed leader, a state delegation from the Social Democratic Party paid a formal visit to the wife and family of Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi on May 8, 2024. Led by the State Chairperson, Chief Mrs. Esther Ikule, the delegation included the Delta Central Vice Chairman, Comrade Mike Dugbo, local government chairmen of the party, state officials, and former candidate of  House of Assembly for Uvwie constituency, Hon. Pst. David O. Temisere.


Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi was an exemplary leader who dedicated his life to the advancement of our party and the welfare of the people of Delta State. His untiring efforts, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to democratic values have left an indelible mark on the Social Democratic Party and the entire political landscape of our nation.


As we mourn the loss of our esteemed leader, we remember the numerous contributions he made to the development of our society. Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi was a champion of social justice, economic empowerment, and progress for all. His entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic endeavors greatly impacted the lives of countless individuals, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.


In these difficult times, the Social Democratic Party embraces the family of Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi and pledges our unwavering support. We encourage all members and supporters of the party to rally behind his family and uplift them in their time of grief.
